Push-fit fastening

Press to secure. Pull apart to release.

The decorative front has a fine pin that sits inside the hollow flat-back post. A slight bend in the pin creates tension, keeping the two parts securely together without a screw thread. To remove it, hold the flat back firmly and pull the front straight out with a gentle rocking motion. Do not unscrew.
