Lark & Berry is proud to announce its new NOMAD collection of 18K gold vermeil and silver pieces with coloured stones, designed in collaboration with top Spanish model Cristina Tosio. Lark & Berry’s NOMAD collection features cultured orange and white sapphires, cultured spinel, and cultured diamonds, keeping with the brand’s commitment to using only sustainable gemstones.
NOMAD’s design aesthetic is a thematic focus on nature, travel and the philosophy of living life as a free spirit
“Several pieces in NOMAD resemble the tip of a spear. The spear represents strength and protection,” Cristina Tosio remarked on the design inspiration. “For me, this NOMAD collection represents a powerful woman; a woman who fights for her beliefs – one of them being she is conscious and respectful of her environment. And that’s why I’m proud to use Lark & Berry’s lab-grown diamonds to create NOMAD, the best stones for the planet. It’s high jewellery for a woman of free spirit, going anywhere she wants, with her strength and self-confidence as her biggest weapons.”
Tosio has graced the covers of Elle, Vogue, Glamour and Harper's Bazaar
Cristina Tosio has spent the past 15 years travelling between Paris, London and NYC working with fashion's hottest photographers, like Peter Lindbergh, Mario Testino and Camilla Akrans. She’s also a premiere DJ and can be seen behind the tables at fashion industry events hosted by the likes of Harper's Bazaar and at Paris Fashion Week. And now, when her fans see her on the "1's and 2's" at these events, they'll no doubt be noticing her draped in her new collection of lab grown sapphires, grown diamonds and lab grown spinel!
“We loved Cristina’s ideas of women as strong, independent personalities and free spirits, looking for inspiration through wandering the world,” said Lark & Berry brand founder Laura Chavez. “Those ideas are closely bonded with our customers’ desires to self-gift our created diamonds and stones jewellery. So, this whole package of independence plus planet consciousness in the form of sustainable jewellery just really speaks to what Lark & Berry is about.”
Lark & Berry’s NOMAD collection, which includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, will be available May 11th on the brand’s website
Like all of Lark & Berry's headline-making, disrupting and buzzworthy designer lab grown diamonds jewellery, the new NOMAD collection is available to order online from the brand's website and ships worldwide. The new collection will also be available in the brand's flagship Marylebone London store. Prices generally range £125 to £1,250.

NOMAD CRAWLER EARRINGS - SILVER WITH 18K GOLD VERMEIL CULTURED SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND
While living the travelling life, you never know who you might meet. Even though you're packing light, you don't want to find yourself without some classically inspired ear-wear for an impromptu, fancy night out! And for an occasion such as that, these crawlers would do just the trick. The pale shade colouring of these stunning lab grown sapphires and the dazzling dots of lab grown diamonds really make for a classy look. These come in lab-grown blue spinel as well!
NOMAD ROSE CUT SPINEL EARRINGS - SILVER WITH RHODIUM CULTURED SPINEL AND SAPPHIRE
Looking for something subtle but will still really make your ear game pop? Look no further than these magnificent luxury earrings studs in grown blue spinel. Whether you're looking for a first piercing, want these to be your only earrings, or you're looking to add something unique and new to your layered luxury diamond earrings piercing game, the deep ocean-blue of these studs should do the trick.
NOMAD DOUBLE BRACELET - SILVER WITH 18K GOLD VERMEIL CULTURED SAPPHIRE
Cristina Tosio is fascinated with talismans, those objects that hold special, or even mystical meaning to us. Here, she and Lark & Berry have doubled up on their spear-head inspired design to lay these dual amulets delicately on your wrist, inviting long gazes at these brilliant lab grown orange sapphires.
NOMAD DOUBLE BRACELET - SILVER WITH RHODIUM CULTURED SPINEL AND SAPPHIRE
If silver and blue are more your thing, the great news about Lark & Berry's new NOMAD collection is that there's a choice with every piece in either of the two color schemes. If you ask us, you can't go wrong with either - and what's even cooler? The fact that you can layer both options on your wrist for some amazing mixing and matching.
NOMAD SIGNET RING - SILVER WITH 18K GOLD VERMEIL CULTURED DIAMOND
And last but not least, let's take a look at NOMAD's sustainable luxury jewellery rings choices. It's rare that such a tiny diamond set in a relatively large gold expanse would have such maximum impact, but here we are. This lovely lab-grown diamond is tastefully centered on a wide plate of 18K gold vermeil. Show it off glamping, show it off at a dinner party, or really wow someone on a first date, even. No matter where you wear this piece, you're sure to get noticed!
NOMAD SIGNET RING - SILVER WITH RHODIUM CULTURED SPINEL
How about the silver and rhodium complement to yellow gold? We'd call this the decidedly edgier choice for those really looking to stand out. This baby blue dot of cultured spinel has us dreaming of swimming with dolphins, or seeing a little island out in the distance from our boat, not marked on any map, just waiting to be explored.
NOMAD - what the inspiration behind Lark & Berry's new adventurous, lab-made diamonds collection means today
When we hear the word "nomad," many of us with a sense of history may, of course, picture our ancient ancestors moving freely from one undiscovered section of Earth to another in search of... well, anything and everything.
That sense of searching and adventuring has prevailed... and evolved into a new way of navigating our modern lives
Fast forward about 8,000 years (when our nomadic ancestors were thought to have first began roaming the Earth) to now, and it could be said we've re-discovered our nomadic ways and put a new, modern sheen on it.
Let's rewind back not thousands of years, but just two - to when the Coronavirus was in its deepest throes, and many of us were forced by default to work from home. Now, in 2022, with most countries having fully (more or less) re-entered the fast pace of modern life, many companies kept their policies intact of letting us work from wherever we like, instead of having to return to an office.
Still desiring to make an impression, and a statement, with lab created diamonds jewellery while we're on the go
Point is, everything has changed. Even though many of us can work from anywhere now, we still want our modern conveniences, and we still want to look cool and make a fashion statement. Take all that into account, and add model Cristina Tosio's warrior-woman heart, and her fascinations with amulets and talismans, throw it all in a pot, mix it up, and you get Lark & Berry's NOMAD collection.
If, like us, you look at these pieces and feel this strange pull - that maybe there's some sort of ethereal, yet decidedly ancient and Earthly magic captured inside these shining stones of orange and blue - then you're thinking the very same things we were when we created them.
For over 15 years, Cristina Tosio's journeys through the world have made her acutely aware of the need to care for our planet
Much like Lark & Berry founder Laura Chavez, Cristina Tosio has always loved fine diamonds jewellery, but was not keen on putting her name on something that harmed the planet. It's the dangers of diamond mining of course that we're getting at, and Tosio was thrilled at the prospect of her first jewelry line utilising created diamonds and stones luxury jewellery. It's far and away the most sustainable luxury jewellery for Earth!
