Lark & Berry at the Oscars!

At Sunday's 92nd annual Academy Awards, the stars were out in full force wearing all the designers in the world who matter, which is why Lark & Berry is so proud that our disrupting diamonds were worn at the Oscars by several stars - including during the opening song & dance routine featuring 'Pose' lead Billy Porter!

The Academy Awards this year were again host-less, but that just gave Billy Porter an even bigger chance to shine as he and American singer-songwriter Janelle Monae lit up the stage with a medley performance thematically highlighting the night's nominees.

Our jaws were on the floor when Billy came tearing onto the stage singing Elton John's 'I'm Still Standing,' wearing outrageously fabulous wardrobe, complimented perfectly by all 64.5 carats of our cultured diamonds necklace plus other Lark & Berry jewellery.

Billy's singular necklace was made exclusively for the Oscars in partnership with Silicon Valley's Diamond Foundry and includes long earrings, stud options of a similar design, that dazzling collar you see on Billy. See the LBxDF necklace and more of our jewellery that he wore in the embedded slideshow below.

But that's not all, cultured diamonds fans. How about 10-year-old actress Julia Butters from 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,' looking just darling in her pink Christian Siriano dress, and to top off that eye-catching ensemble: Lark & Berry's signature Bow Necklace, winner of the 2019 JCK Magazine Editor's Choice in Design.

'The Irishman' was a big gamble by Netflix, and they spent a fortune marketing it for Oscar's attention. The Martin Scorcese-helmed film was nominated for no less than ten awards, but sadly, came up short. But that didn't stop its stars from celebrating all the attention, including actress Katherine Narducci wearing our Alicia Drop Sapphire Earrings! (pictured below)

The Academy Awards wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't for all the glorious history of awards broadcasts past. There were several montages during the broadcast Sunday honouring past stars, and many legends were presenters. Lark & Berry was proud to have been worn by Academy Award nominee and 'Blacklist' star Christine Lahti, sporting our Double Veto Ring & Veto Hoop on Sunday.

How's about all that for Oscar presence with our disrupting diamonds? Oh, wait, one last mention. Elton John's presence was felt big time at the Academy Awards on Sunday with his original song for his own movie biopic having won the award for Best Original Song (and don't forget about Billy Porter singing some bars of Elton John in the opening of the show).

Elton has done wonderful things for charity throughout his whole career, and to gear up for the Oscars on Sunday, Kelly Osbourne wore our Nocturnal Wrap Ring in 14k Yellow Gold to the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party in Los Angeles!

That about does it for this year's Oscar's. Thanks again to everyone who rep'ed cultured diamonds for the Academy Awards this year; the most environmentally responsible option in luxury!
